Here's a thought for you. Slightly o/t but perhaps you'll see where I'm going.

1. A poster posts an article in which the title of the thread is salacious and doesn't match the title of the article in the OP.

2. Another poster who doesn't like the OP poster comes along and reports the post for breaking the TOS, knowing that the moderation team will insist on changing the topic title to match the title of the article. Their motivation is less about the quality of the content and more to do with wanting to get one over on the OP poster.

A question for you. In enforcing the TOS in this way are you being made complicit in a personal attack against the OP?

That sounds a bit like the rape defense if you look at it from another angle.

he gave the ok to move. i'll give him that. that was fantastic. but, do you credit Bush's policies for gaining the intel?

Yes, I do. Bush's policies, however objectionable gave results. Fortunately we will never know at what cost and that is what helps us sleep at night. We are better off for what we don't know. Having said that, contrary to many here, I don't think any president - current or past - entertained any secret plans to destroy America. I'm not paranoid to that level. I distrust our government to a certain extent but I stop far shy from conspiracies and other secret plans, of which everyone knows...

I think Bush was a terrible president. He was ill advised in many aspects and as a result he made some bad decisions - it is my opinion and no one needs to share it. I also think Obama has helped the country recover far faster and better than anyone would expect. I also believe he was ill advised in many aspects and I also think he has made some bad decisions.

We can argue details all we want but the honest truth is that we don't know what we don't know and perhaps that is what allows us to enjoy all the excesses our lifestyles afford us.

He really was a terrible President. It was just so obvious to me that he was simply a puppet for his father's business interests. His speeches and debate performances were embarassingly bad, to the point where would freeze on live TV as if he were waiting for the person in his earpiece to feed him the right answer. I never believed that he himself had the knowledge to answer half of the questions thrown at him by reporters.

You could have condensed that all down to
