What you can do in inform the USCIS by writing them this will protect you against any fraud via sponsorship if you later decide to sponsor a spouse or fiance as well his name will be with USCIS and will impact him negatively if he decide to sponsor a spouse or fiance.

On the flip side of things do not divorce him as yet if you are looking for your funds back until he pays you back keep in mind that he is the one that will need the divorce faster than you if this was intention; you do not file for divorce first and let him file first as that will show he is the one wants to divorce you , let him pay the fees and everything else that is included.

I am so sorry for what happened to you. I understand that you want revenge on this guy for betraying you and your trust. I cannot give you any legal advice but the best way is to sort it through a lawyer. Sit down with lawyer and see what your options can be. Do keep in mind that if you pursue to get him deported, you have to prove everything and prove his intensions were not right. That can be very challenging. I would suggest you look into giving him divorce and get your life back together.

This is one thing out of SO MANY things about India, I really hate.. Not all but a lot of them wants to get out of India, which obviously shows how bad Indian government really is. I been back in India for a lil over one year and I Hate how things are done around here. I hope u find your happiness again quickly and may god help you through this terrible time.

Hi,

Sorry to interfere in u'r personal life. You said, your husband used you to get a US visa & a Green Card, I've few questions;

1. Are you a US Citizen or a Permanent Resident? I see that you've only moved to US in Aug 2009 and how did you get your GC or Citizenship?

2. How did he get a 10 year Green card? Did you sponsor for his Green Card or Did he get it through his employment? It seems like you married him only in 2012, if he is getting 10 years Green Card, it could only be through you (provided you are a citizen, filed for his initial GC in 2012 & removal of conditions by early this year) or if can get it only through his Employment, ideally through EB1 filing (which is not a marriage fraud, where you don't have any control over it & there is nothing illegal here)

3. I see your VJ status as F2-A visa filed, so I would like to know, how would you claim that you have sponsored his Green Card?

Kindly explain so that other VJ members can provide you better suggestions and help.

Thanks!

I'm not her so I can't really tell but this is what I understood:

1. She is a LPR, probably thru family or work.

2. She was married to him for a couple of years before sponsoring him so in that case he didn't have to remove conditions, he automatically got a 10-year GC.

3. LPRs can sponsor spouses for GCs.

Thanks for all the help. I am feeling much better now as some more time has passed since the incident. The wounds are still fresh so it might take bit more time to heal.

I was on a work visa over here "F2"

I petitioned for my husband and did all his paper work.

Should I withdraw the support? Because I know no one else is going to give him any kind of support, he doesn't deserves it and no one trusts him anymore.

Thanks.

If by withdrawing your support, you mean the I-864, you cannot withdraw that as he already is here and has his green card. As to supporting him directly, you should file for divorce based on fraud, they shouldn't award him any alimony from you. I wouldn't give the creep 2 cents in the future, and you might want to make a claim in the divorce for all the costs you incurred to bring him here, when he only wanted the green card.
