As for the issue of gay marriage.. it'll never affect my vote either way. There are more important things. I'll let those who care fight it out amongst each other, i'll be ok with the outcome either way.

Historically, Catholic leaned Democrat, but that's changed in the past 20 years or so, though it seems to be swinging back lately.
