It is not like a week to get the visa tho?

Nope, sometimes it is two weeks, or even more. No one really knows when a visa will arrive, which is why the embassy has this statement in their instructions letter:
 Do not finalize arrangements for travel to the United States, dispose of properties, or resign from your
job until a visa has been issued and delivered to you.

I'm not sure if this applies to your situation, but if it's a K-1 visa, she still has to schedule and pass her CFO, or no go. Suggest you schedule her CFO asap, as you appear to have very limited fudge room and yes she can do her CFO before the interview but she has to return to pick up the CFO cert to fly.

My fiancé finished her interview on the 14th @ 9.30am, it is the 23rd and no papers yet. She completed her CFO course two weeks ago, as soon as she has her sealed GC & Visa, she flies to Cebu on a day trip to pick up the CFO cert....the last stop before POE Boston  Good luck !

Before she leaves make sure she has the following:

1. Any Photo IDs

2. Birth Certificate

3. Her K-1 Visa Packet (that very important, brown, Do NOT OPEN envelope)

4. Health/Medical records

5. Anything she may have used in the K-1 Visa process (just for records)

Insurance:

Buy her temporary Travel Health Insurance for at least 3-5 months. Most company plans will only cover your spouse after 3 months of marriage, however some, like mine approve spouses immediately with proof of marriage.

When she arrives:

1. File for her SSN right away.

2. She can get a drivers license on her I-94, but once that expires, she will need to get a new license with her EAD/AP card.

3. Marry in 90 days, (of course). We did a small civil court wedding and then planned a big chruch wedding later on.

4. After you are married, file AOS right away. File for EAD & AP at the same time so they are free with the AOS fee.

Good luck!

Great post. One thing to remember which is not a huge deal, you have to wait about 10 days from arrival at your POE to get your social security number. Get it in her maiden name and once married, take your marriage cert and get a new one if you all end up changing her last name.

About the I-94 couldn't find it in sample VJ forms, but I turned up this from US immigration and customs

As of May 21, 2013, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) began automating all I-94 Forms. The I-94 Form will be created electronically upon arrival and will be available immediately for verification purposes. If you entered prior to the automation date, the processing time for entering foreign visitors' travel information into the I-94 database is 30 days or more. This does not affect the majority of foreign travelers visiting for business or leisure and will not affect any visitor's record of departure.

If I'm reading this correctly, as of May 21,2013 the I-94 is generated automatically upon my fiancés POE entry ?

BTW: thanks everyone ;)

Our POE was LAX and they did not print a I-94. She arrived 12/15/2013. Had to do ours online but no problems. Easy to do.
