hi guys,

hope you can help me with this.. I will have my interview this week and jist realize today that my passport is less than 6months from the expiration date. it will expire on jan 07 2015.. I thought I'm still within the 6months coz I counted from aug-jan without considering the exact day just "month"... this being said, if I renew my passport tomorrow I won't still be able to get the new passport after 10-15days of expedited passport... do u think this will put me to 221g or cause me any problem at the embassy?

need you help badly.

thanks

I went on your csc visa website and looked at your F.A.Q's.... I found this......

What should I do if I have a valid visa in an expired passport?

Unless canceled or revoked, a visa is valid until its expiration date. Therefore, if the traveler has a valid U.S. visa in an expired passport, the traveler may present it, along with a new valid passport, at the Port of Entry.

Please present the original expired passport, along with a new valid passport, at the Port of Entry. Both of the passports must indicate the same nationality, and the bearer's name must be identical in both passports.

Please note: A valid visa is not guarantee of entry into the United States. Final determination of entry is at the sole discretion of the CBP Officer reviewing the documentation.

Just to make sure i went on the right csc site yours say tel-Aviv next to the csc logo? If so just call or email your embassy and see if the expiration date will effect printing your visa.......????????? just hope you get through with no delays....good luck??????
