I put my daily call this morning to the Department of State (202) 663-1541 and finally heard some good news. My husbands interview is scheduled for 2/21/06. FINALLLY after my case was sitting at the embassy for about a month....Traveling to colombia 2/17/07...... :):) ......

My husband is in Cali...I have heard the mail in Colombia especially to Cali is not that great...does anyone know what I should do if we don't get the interview letter in the mail???????

CR-1 (I-130)

I-130 Approved: 08/03/06

NVC Received : 08/17/06

Received DS-3032 / I-864 Bill : 09/01/06

Pay I-864 Bill: 09/02/06

Return Completed DS-3032 : 09/18/06

Receive IV Bill : 09/22/06

Pay IV Bill : 09/25/06

Receive Instruction Package : 10/06/2006

Congratulations!

We are hoping for an interview in Bogota in early April if all goes well. Not sure what the options are if the package is not received. We would be interested in hearing how others have handled this situation in the past.

11-20-06: DS-3032 and AOS Bill Generated

11-21-06: E-Mailed Choice of Agent

11-24-06: AOS Bill Mailed to NVC

11-29-06: Received email acceptance of DS-3032

12-04-06: IV Fee Bill and I-864 Generated

12-11-06: Received IV Fee Bill and I-864

12-12-06: Mailed IV Fee Bill and I-864 to NVC (overnight)

12-18-06: IV Fee Bill entered into system by NVC
