hello to all members of visajourney.Ce forum is very useful for me
I am the wife of a permanent resident my priority date March 12, 2012 I did my interview February 20, 2014 in Dakar (Senegal) at the time of the interview the consular officer was hard on me because in 2011 I 'aivais applied for a visit visa and I put in my file the birth of the son of my cousin but I did not say that this is my child, but I was refused the visa and at the time my interview for the immigrant visa February 20, 2014 the officer asked me why I have not applied for my son because in 2011 I said I aivais aivais a son I said no because it n is not the son of my husband is the son of my cousin and he is always with me and I consider him a son and the officer looked at me with a nasty look and he told me that this is very serious after he gave me a blank sheet and it says that your application requires additional administrative processing they will contact me when the case is over and it makes me 5 months in administrative process and I am very Inquite each month I write consulate dakar he answers that they have not done me they end up treating my case they will contact me and request patient well.
my question is whether my request for a visit in 2011 will affect my application for immigrant visa and the period of treatment of this type of case can vary in how long? concerant the relationship between my husband and I have presented a lot of evidence and did not say anything about it

The problem here isnt the tourist visa, the problem is that you put a son that you dont have.

You traid to get a visa using as son of other person.

You say that he is like your son, but your intention at the moment looking for the tourist visa was show to the co a reason to come back to your country.

For them that is a big thing.

If he isnt your legal son , you cant put him in any document as your son, now they need to be sure that in the inmigrant process you havent put others false informations.

during my interview for the immigrant visa I told the truth and then I showed a lot of picture of us together before departing from my husband for usa our photos and our wedding photos in different places and much evidence that shows that our relationship is a real relationship.
My immigrant visa process there is no lie I'm not afraid of it even if they investigate they find that my marriage is a real love story.
My anxiety is still on my previous tourist visa application in which I added the birth of the son of my cousin and I did not say that this is my enfant.je not know how long it will take? The administrative processing in west africa

So then you say you didn't say he was your son, yet you listed him as your child? There is no "cousins" section on a visitor visa. So then why did you list he child.

This isn't even about your relationship and marriage its about you lying before to get a Visa benefit.

Exactilly, she listed the child at the tourist visa to try to make co thinks that she had kid.

That was laying, for them she tryed to make fraud.

I have a chance to get the visa after the administrative process is completed? because I have not committed fraud in my process of immigrant visa

There is a chance of approval but determining the chance of approval is hard because they already connected the dots between your tourist visa application and your immigrant visa application.

Normally, a tourist visa denial does not have any bad effect if the denial is based on lack of strong ties to home country but your case is different. You lied by claiming you have a child. The consul mentioned that during your IV interview, right? That's where the AP is coming from. They are doing additional background checks on you. The outcome could be approval or denial.

Hope for the best.
