Expiration of Medical Exam for Canadians

Hello all-

I've been searching and have had little luck in getting a clear answer.

How long are medical examinations valid for Canadian immigrants?

My wife completed her exam in Montreal and we were just wanting to confirm when that expires. Long story short, we needed to renew her passport and send it back to the consulate after our (approved) interview and that took a while. They finally issued the CR1 visa and it's in transit back to Loomis for pick up.

Thanks in advance!

Medical is valid for 6 months and visa expiration will be valid for 6 months from medical date.
