Not sure if there is an average time. In 2012, our petition took about a week to go from the NVC (NH, USA) to the interviewing consulate (Guangzhou, China). YMMV.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

well the delivery time differs prob cause of all the diff locations in the world but i guess what im asking is, how long does it take for the nvc to mail it to a certain country after they get the petition? our situation is different cause the petition got sent to records center instead and the senator took care of it and it is mailed to the nvc...at least thats how my fiance understood it. dang, ive read that people's petiitons get sent back to the USCIS for review and new approval after they accidently end up in the records center....

Electronically the embassy will received within 2 days after left NVC. That's my case. My case only sit at NVC less than a week before the embassy received it. Check your case on CEAC to see the progress. After the embassy received then they sent email to my then-fiance (my husband) 2 weeks after the status on CEAC says "Ready".

I am sorry if not following all your posts. But, do you already have your case number from NVC?

Sure there are a lot of variables involved in the transfer process. For example, diplomatic pouches from US are often held up "awaiting clearance" in a "diplomatic limbo" in a Chinese Customs warehouse upon arrival, sometimes for months. It is a bit of brinksmanship, the US does the same to Chinese diplomatic pouches. We were lucky! YMMV.

For a K1 you guys are pretty much in and out. I would say next week start calling NVC for case#. Since you went through hell getting that petition found (way to go Senator  ), I would be on NVC's butt constantly for sure.

im sorry...im sorry im making threads and having so many questions!!! but do u guys know the approx time of the petition getting to the country's embassy from nvc?

2-3 days tops, and that is because NVC prepares the package for pickup and notifies the courier; courier then comes next day and picks up, it then flies to Warszawa, and then sometime in the next day or so it is 'registered' as received and then the process takes its course.

There is a "DHL trick' elsewhere in VJ and show you a way yo ucan track down (with a good level of certainty) when your petition is ready to be picked up and you can follow from there.

The delay is in NVC processing usually, and that can be days/weeks. I don't know the current times, but used to be about 10 days, as I recall, it has gone as long as 3-4 weeks; but again, I do not the current times and a good estimate can be found her ein the processing times and immigraiton timelines, look for "Igor's"

As I said before, I believe that within 6 months you'll be stateside; possibly sooner.

There are a lot of details you might to complete before leaving Poland; I'd suggest you start working out a plan -unless you have one-.

In our case, afte we had visa in hand, it was another 6 weeks before she came to te US, and that is with a plan already outlined; just some things cannot be done until you have the visa: power of attorneys for flat, payments, etc; work related arrangements, family, etc.

And you need to account for arranging the flight at least 3 weeks in advance, unless you want to pay a huge fare. The good news is that you will be out of Summer fares. Also remember, you do not need a return ticket but it might be less expensive to get one. Our strategy was to use miles I had accrue, for a one way. We got a British Airways for about 100, all the way from Warszawa to Houston

What details are you talking about??? And what plan? Once I got my visa on hand, I will prob come to the US quick. I would think everything is under control and already "planned", i just hope they grant me the visa.
