hello VJ members.. my husband called the NVC and asked the status of our I-130 the operator told him that the check for IV bill has been cleared and mailed my ds-230 on January 5, 2007. Im a bit worried coz up to now i havent receive the packet yet. I usually receives mail within 11 days.. I hope this is just another backlog holidays ....Does anyone receive their packet not on time? Is there any reason for that? Any comments and replies will be appreciated.....

Visa Approved! Interview Completed.

Visa Delivered by DELBROS October 28th, 2006

October 30, 2006 Arrived back in LAX with Melinda, were going to Disneyland!!!

November 6th, 2006, Melinda and I are back home in Winslow Arizona loving Life!

My IV Bill was generated on January 1st and we still haven't received it! My understanding is that once something gets generated, they don't actually mail it out that same day.

Hopefully we both get some good mail soon - I'm thinking in the next week for sure. I think it was Our Mao that had the IV Bill mailed out December 25, and didn't receive it until January 15.

Hi Boo,

it happened to us as well. when we called the NVC, the operator said that they sent the packet on dec 24, 2006. My agent didn't get the packet till january 16.. almost 1 month. :crying: I was beginning to think that it might have been lost along the way.But thank God my agent finally got it.

Hello Rob and Melinda,

Got a few questions for you..I noticed in your timeline that your I-129F petition was approved after your I-130 but you still pursue with the K3 visa application..am i correct?

and if so, did you totally ignore the I-130 procedure like paying some fees and sending some forms to NVC for the I-130 or did you do the I-130 process as well?

yeah we had experienced it too... but mine only took 19 days :whistle: ....don't worry you'll get it soon...

If you click on the OUR VISA button on our website you will now see all the information you need.

I hope this helps you, and others,and I will add more information as I get it and it is all correct.

No Guess work, no issues, everything is as NVC has directed. I spent a long time on the phone confirming the information due to conflicting information in the past, or differences in countries. This information is all correct for the Philippines, and some of it will help others if they wish. But I hope this helps you out, and others who may go there and check it out.
