I'd be all for that. Let the house or senate elect the president. That way we wouldn't have to be tortured with 2 years of campaigning. The way we elect the president in the U.S. is silly.

During my first week our MSL teacher told us the story about Colonial Americans going to war and declaring independence from Britain because they [the colonials] yearned for a different form of government.

If English were my first language I would state the notion of wishing that America adopt the form of government of socialist Britain or Canada to be asinine, at best.

I guess s/he must have baited me good. I fell for it. Never saw it coming.

After schools of red herrings we are still at a point where no one was able to present any evidence Lori's unqualified for the job. Opinions yes, but nothing verifiable so far.

Constitutionally qualified does not equal real world qualified. Anyone over 35 and U.S. citizen is qualified.
