they probably wouldn't be shooting rockets at Israeli citizens if they were.

Where's the fun in that when you can really look the victim in they eye? Bulldozing is way more personal.

Gershon Baskin blames Hamas. Even the Egyptians blame Hamas.

Hamas is moving from place to place inside Ambulances with kids and shoot rockets out of hospitals. Hamas is horrible for the Palestinian people...and anyone who supports Hamas must be sick in the head and does not want the Palestinian people's best interests.

I spent hours yesterday morning and afternoon trying to convince my main Hamas contact to speak to his leaders to call for an immediately unconditional 24 hour ceasefire in order to prevent the escalation. My message made it all the way up to Khaled Mashal. I wanted to try to prevent the inevitable death of innocent people and the destruction that this war would cause. The Hamas leadership decided to ignore the possibility of the ceasefire and challenged Israel to "bring it on". It is so unfortunate that these Hamas leaders, some sitting in hotel abroad and others safely hiding underground in ground put the innocentThese irresponsible leaders are criminals to their own people. I can honestly say that Netanyahu did not want to escalate this war. people of Gaza in the direct line of fire. This is criminal. Force alone will never be a proper response to the problems of human suffering Israel had to respond with force, I am sorry to say, My Palestinian friends who are criticizing me for what I wrote, please respond how you would deal with the situation if you were Israeli PM

The Egyptian foreign minister said Thursday that Hamas is at fault for the IDF's need to enter Gaza in a ground operation.

"Had Hamas accepted the Egyptian proposal, it could have saved the lives of at least 40 Palestinians," said Sameh Shoukri, Egypt's FM, as reported by Egyptian state news agency MENA.

they'd have no reason to

Well yeah... If one group of people were a different group of people they probably wouldn't be doing what the first group were doing. Being a different group of people and all.

What are you trying to say exactly?

Who "supported Hamas"? Nobody. It has however been found necessary to bulldoze Israel's "moral high ground".

This concept that people who are fighting on their own property against people who systematically and without recourse take it somehow deserve whatever they get from the people who took it in the first place is ranging between laughable and pathetic.

A crime was committed and some kids who were not supposed to be where they were were killed. Find the criminals and punish them like civilized people do. Killing babies who had nothing to do with it is just as bad as the original crime. Neither side is right.

exactly what I said. what are you trying to insinuate?

Let me help. I think that what she is saying is that IF they were Jews and Baptists then the Baptists would be taking up collections to fund bulldozers for the Jews to use against the other side BUT it would be OK because they are Jews and Baptists. Clear?

You're mixing two different topics again like people here seem to like to do, I know it is easier to divert attention to Israel's mistakes instead of staying on topic, which is the situation in Gaza, same thing that happened in this thread:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/505975-israel-now-plans-boots-on-the-ground-says-ground-attack-chances-very-high/

As to who is supporting Hamas? Well, at least two people in that thread's poll.

The other poster's point was basically that the US has a Pro-Israel bias.

The response to that, which I responded to, appeared to be suggesting that if it were Christians or whatever living in Gaza that they would have no need to fire rockets because only the 'nasty' muslims do that kind of thing.
