A Quick Question

Hey Guys,

I just got my i130 approved yesterday , After going through posts and past experiences of members it seems like the nvc process will take a while (like 3-4 Months ) Approx. and maybe another 1-2 months for the consulate interview. Thats like over another 6 more months. I was thinking what if I apply for a visit visa and go to the USA and stay with my wife for 2-3 months and once NVC process is nearing completion , I can fly back to india for the medicals and the interviews.

I have the following questions

• Will I be granted the visit visa ( I intend to be honest to the consular officer and would like to tell them my true intend of being with her and to come back to the immigrant visa interview)
• Will I be stopped at the point of entry as i have a case running with the NVC.

I cant bear this seperation. I just got around 12 days in total with my wife and really long to be with her but would only want to enter USA in the right and honest way.

Please advise...

You show high immigrant intent. You likely will be denied a visitor visa. I suggest she comes to visit you.

Right coming down to visit will be better because even if you doesn't intend to tell the truth, The CO will know right away that your having a pending Immigrant Visa Case.
