My interview is Friday week, and I'm getting terribly nervous right now! I have a few last minute questions.

On the checklist it mentions divorce decrees. I have never been divorced but my husband has, do I need to take that with me?

Also one of the forms is for the children of the applicant. I have one son, who is a US citizen, it wants his name, date of birth, place of birth and his address. Well generally he is with me, but when I return to Korea for my interview he will be staying here in Ireland with my mom, what should I put on the form regarding his address?

Next, my husband has sent me the affidavit of support, his tax transcripts, his W2's, and he is sending me his LES, which gives the date which he leaves the army, which is 2015 is this sufficient for the sponser information. Also should all this information be in a sealed envelope?

Is there anything else I should bring!!! I have photos, emails, plane tickets, joint bank account details our sons birth certificate etc!! Am I well enough prepared! Here's Hoping!!!

Also thanks all for the help throughout this process!!!

Kelly,

YES to divorce decrees.. that is one of your peices of evidence already submitted, and you need to be prepared to show the original. Same goes for any evidence you have already submitted.

Your child's address would be wherever s/he is normally resident (same as what you put for yourself?).

The sealed envelope suggestion is for Joint Sponsors who don't want any/everyone to see thier business. Doesn't apply in your case, unless your husband doesn't want you to see it... :)

Have a great interview--we'll be watching for your WooHoooo!

We never had the original divorce decrees, only original copies, which were notorized by a JAG officer. Thats what we used when we filed the I-130. Do you think that this is ok? His wife refused to send a copy of the divorce decree, and we only got one copy from the court house, which had to be given in to his "higher ups", but we did get the original copies done properly. Hope this is ok!!!
