What is your status on ceac?

All depent of status. Generaly they issue in one week, but that can take longer.

To best answer you need tell us what is your status.

If you go to ap can take long, I was approved on march 18 and no visa yet, I am in ap.

15 days now of saying "ready" and still nothing. What is going on there in Santo Domingo at the embassy? Has anyone else been waiting a long while?

Well I have 4 months on ap.

At least you are in ready status.

Yesterday monday they were clossed, they had problems with the air conditioning.

One day clossed is mean more delay.

I gope you get your visa issue soon.

And that they dont put you on ap.

We go Monday for our CR1 interview. I'm in Santo Domingo now. I didn't want read these posts. Were either of your passports taken immediately? I thought that was a tell-tale sign things would process poquito mas rapido. Not that it's going to help, but I came armed and ready with my State Senators' offices and Representative's office numbers. I'm trying to bring my hubby home with me in a respectable time. I'm (like you all) tired of this waiting game... Good luck and prayers sent for your cases.

We went on AP starting today :/ This really sucks.

The visa status website says this process can take 2 weeks, while the US Embassy Santo Domingo site says it can take up to a couple months.

Ohhhh I hope that your ap end soon.

I hope that they dont put you long time like me.

Today I have 4 months in ap. They have my passport , I though that if they take passport ap will end soon but no take the passport doesnt asure nothing.

In your case was the petitioner present at tge interview?

Filed: Other Timeline

Last week I had wrote an email to the embassy about the whereabouts of our visa, and they sent me a reply that stated that we should check the DOM EX carrier tracking number at the end of next week. I wonder if the person that wrote me knows that our visa is going to be shipped soon or not.

No the oerson who answer the e-mails doesnt know about the issuance of visas.

And in many times they dont know about what they are answer.

Sometimes they give wrong answers.

And when call you get more wrong answers too.

For example, in ready status says that your case is ready for a interview ....

But you have had your interview already, you call to ask what happen and they tell you that you need a new interview.

You explain them that you have had the interview already but they say : you need a new interview.

But that isnt truth, they say that because they read that in the status on ceac.

The people who work in the call deparment and at the e-mail deparment when people are in ap , they are useless they dont know what to answer.

Belive me I have 4 months in this and dealing with them.
