Parents where approved on July 15, 2014

Do they get anything stamped in our UK passports to say they are LPR?

Or do they just produce our Green Card at Re-Entry to the USA?

I can not remember ever getting anything in my passport when I became a LPR?

I also think when I went back to the UK for 2 weeks I re-entered on the US citizen line?

I just want to make sure I have the correct info for my parents if they travel back to UK.

I think your parents would have to go to the consulate in UK for a visa interview and once the visa is granted they will be able to travel to the US. If you don't mind me asking when did you file the i130 petition for your parents, because I filled mine on 2/28 and still nothing yet ?

Questions:

What was approved? Petition by USCIS or Visa by London consulate at interview.

Why do you say stamp OUR passports and OUR greencard? Are you getting a visa? I thought you were a naturalized USC now.

Airport:

Normally two choices--Residents and Visitors. Anybody with a greencard to show is a resident. Entry on a visa or visa waiver would be considered visitor.

I am USC I petitioned for my parents who where here in USA on Dec 23, 2013

They where approved on July 15 after I called & requested they expedite the case as it was outside the 5 month processing time.

I just wondered do they get anything stamped in their UK passports to say they are now LPR? I just can not remember from when I was a LPR?

Sorry, still confused. Are they still in the US from December? When did they interview? Where? Did they get visas in their passports?

Yes my parents are still in USA they adjusted status.

They had a interview waiver letter back in March from DC office.

I am just trying to establish if they will have anything stamped in their UK passports at anytime to state they are LPR or if they just show their Green Cards when they re-enter?

Their i-130 & i 485 where approved July 15, 2014

They will get greencards in the mail shortly if they were approved without an adjustment of status interview. They will use their UK passport to travel internationally and show the greencard along with their passports to enter the US when they return. They don't need anything in their passport.

Had they been issued a visa in the UK, like most do it, when they entered the US on the visa, they would have an indication of LPR marked in the passport at the airport. People call it an I-551 stamp. It serves as proof of being LPR until a card can be issued and mailed.

Thanks for clarifying that for me I just wanted to make sure I had it all written down for my parents.

They do not plan to go back yet but will have to at sometime........which will bring me to my next questions anybody have any suggestions on good shippers from UK? They do not have a lot of stuff they want to bring but I know they will need to ship some family items.
