K2 Follow to Join Benefits--Received great news!

Hi Vjers,

I just want to share how thankful I am for this site. I received an email reply from the US embassy in the Philippines that they have waived my daughter's visa interview scheduling. So, we can proceed with medical and interview anytime between August 1 and onwards. My K1 visa issuance was August 12 so the follow to join derivative would've expired a year after. The interview date we've booked was the 22nd so I emailed an expedited interview appointment and got the great news today.

Just a question to all Vjers: should we leave the Phils before my visa issuance date expiry or can we stay longer in Phils (sort of spending time with my parents)?

Hoping for some clarity. Thank you Lord, thank you VJ!
