That is so strange. On my NBI clearance it was just my maiden name with a mention of my husband's surname and they accepted it though I brought an extra copy with an aka of my married name. My cenomar also listed me as single and only reflected my maiden name obviously.

Was it the American CO who asked for new docs or the person in releasing?

Yep...my wife had her interview on June 9. They kicked back both her CENOMAR and NBI for not having all names used....The embassy received all back from us June 20, and we are still AP.... :-(

u got me worried here....i have a correction on my birthcertificate so i had that include aka on my NBI -

i have a CEMAR on my corrrected name, coz that's what i used eversince...

so this means, i have to have a CENORMAR under the wrong name listed on my birthcertificate.

so glad i still havet 2 weeks b4 the interview....better be on the safer side tho this will cost another 250 pesos....
