Has anybody who already has the I-130 approved had their case received by NVC or further in the process?

It has been 36 days since our case was approved and the last notice was that our case was set to NVC. Any advice? Please also share about your case's progress after approval.

Thank you.

Thank you for the information.

I've been calling several times today but it says all of the lines are busy. I guess it is because it is Monday and everybody is calling.

In your experience, what time is when it is less busy?

Thank you!

Right before they open.... you will learn that with these people they really push it to the last second. If they say they assign the case in 42 days, trust me, you won't receive it sooner; if they say 60 days to review... they mean it. THIS LESSON I LEARNED THE HARD WAY.

Hi! I called the NVC today. Our case was sent to the NVC on Jan.6, 2015 and received Jan 12, 2015. The lady said she would be able to give us information 42 days from Jan. 12, 2015. It is not the news I wanted, but I am glad to be moving forward!!

By the way, I had to call around 35 times, and I was on hold for about 40 minutes.

Yay! We got our numbers from the NVC via email 7 days earlier than they said! I did not even have to call 35 times and wait on hold for 40 minutes this time. I did not even think they did emails from everything I read on here.

How awesome is this...actually it was exactly 35 days after they received our paperwork! Hope everyone else is getting these wonderful emails!
