Hello guys!

I got approved today, Jan 15 2015!

PD was July 25 2014

Just waiting for my daughter's approval now. Has anyone here had any similar situation where the spouse's I-130 was approved but not the child(ren)? We both had same PD and filed at Nebraska.

I had to contact my congressman also, my pd date is July 10th and there was no updates on my case since it was received. My congressman's office did an inquiry on my case Jan. 12, 2015 and since then I have received 2 emails from uscis advising me they are working on my case. I believe this emails are just a way of appeacing you in the mean time, since uscis never looked at my case before the congressional inquiry as it was told to me by the congressional rep. that contacted me. At least they can get your case looked at I think. I am hoping for an approval soon this wait is killing us.

No, these are two separate offices. I submitted an inquiry to both my senator and my congressman, the congressman's office called me right way and the senator's office sent me a letter thanking me for contacting them. I am just desperate si I started contacting everybody to see who can prompt a response from uscis.
