We'd received NOA 1 in July/2014, had 5 months anniversary on Dec 11th, but no NOA 2 yet! This anxiety will kill me! :-(

Same here. NOA1 9 July, Nebraska. Been on 'case being reviewed' (before website update) and 'your case has been received' (after website update) ever since.

Never got an email, text or even a hard copy for the NOA1. We had to ring them to find out the package has been received.

Within the following months my wife rang USCIS twice to request the hard copy but both times they informed her that 'the hard copy isn't needed since it says the same as the status update on the website.' Not too impressed with that but what can you do.

From there you can also see the last "update" (case history).

Thanks for the replies. Yeah we did that all, to be honest. The postal address had been verified as being correct in their system each time my wife spoke to them. We've also set the notifications on the website to let us know. It's weird.

Blimey, yesterday when having a look at my police clearance certificate I noticed they forgot a letter in my first name!

Everything else is correct including my middle name... but in the first name there's a vowel missing between two consonants so it's really kind of obvious what the name is but still, if this means there is a chance of getting a checklist from NVC only because of this...ouch.

Do you think they would pick on that?

My wife has just rang USCIS. They told her that they are currently working on June cases and that ours should be done soon. They also added a note to our case that flags it up as being late which apparently helps get things going. Not sure how much effect it has but at least we got a little bit of information.

I called uscis today to see about our case since its been five months and they told me to give it another 24 days since they are now processing June 18th out of Nebraska Sercive Center. I truly hope we hear something within a month our Noa1 came July 10.

Good to now! However, I'm not sure that them currently being on 24 days older cases translates necessarily into another 24 days waiting time. That would mean that their are processing just as many cases as they are receiving every day. I don't think it works all that linear.

No idea why applications in oct, nov, dec get approval while applications from earlier months still have to wait?!
