I actually work night shift 40 hrs a week, 12 hrs a shift. That actually makes my day go by faster. Usually awake at night and asleep during the day. :D

Good for you... you won't get bored of waiting.

Is anybody else having an issue with the approximate dates for their timeline? That's the only thing I check now even though it changes every day. It's just nice to check something that changes instead of going on the USCIS website and seeing the same message over and over again.

My timeline is saying there isn't enough recent approvals to give an approximate date but it's been saying the same for the past 2 weeks. Are all the people at USCIS on vacation? I mean it's not like I'm in a rush to have my husband over here or anything haha

YAY!!!

NOA2 arrived today in the mail!

That's about 3 weeks or 23 days to be exact, for us from the priority date of the NOA1! Things are moving indeed, so excited! And we're not from the Philippians with expedited process, so as I have been hearing they are moving faster these days, especially from the California center.

Looking forward to celebrating with you all soon!

Yes, you were expedited. Do you, the USC, live abroad with your spouse? If so, that's the reason you were expedited. Everyone else can still expect to wait the normal 5 months.

Is this true? How do you know?

Yes, it's true and it's been this way since April this year. If you do a search, you can find a lot of threads about this in these forums (for example, here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/357465-usc-petitioner-living-abroad/page-39 ). When the USC lives abroad with the petitioner, the case gets sent to CSC and is usually approved within 2-3 weeks. Everyone else gets sent to Nebraska (sometimes Vermont) and the case takes the usual 5+ months.

You were sent to California (CSC)? Usually this only happened when the USC lives abroad (otherwise it's either Nebraska or Vermont), but I filed in April so I don't know what they're doing right now, things might be different. If you actually got sent to California then you might see an approval soon!
