NOA2 received on to NVC

Thankfully we FINALLY received our NOA2 !! I received a text early this morning and an email followed after. I'm beyond emotional as I was truly breaking to pieces and losing ALL hope.

Now while we are at the NVC we are going to go into full consulate mode prep full swing. So printing and gathering everything needed. Paying and making medical appt as needed. (Last I checked I think this needs to be with 30 days of the interview date so we have some time I'm just curious to see how long the wait is forit).

Are there any specific posts that guide one through these steps specific to DR ?

I'm still trembling and crying in intervals. Thank you God. !!! Wishing a speedier process for all those waiting as this was one of the worst things I've endured my entire life.

Relax a bite.. Breathe.... it may still be a while.. Usually about 1-2 months for the Interview to be scheduled....for a date usually a few months AFTER you were notified.

We were notified in July of our Interview in November....

Congrats! Now everything will be moving pretty quickly.

I would wait a couple of weeks before calling NVC for your case # so you can track your petition all the way to your embassy/consulate.

Right at the 5 month mark...even though they are much longer at TSC, at least they are somewhat consistent .

Thank you Enigma... I'm sure we are looking at a Jan entry prob but I'm so happy to be out of that purgatory. that was truly awful.

I called uscis every single day practically once my 5 month was almost here and was indignant they told me 65 more days for service request and even that good luck. Every day I called. Every day I requested a tier 2 with the same line about processing Dec only. I said it was not true and I would keep calling until I reacted someone with a heart.they said okwe can't stop you . so I was portion the crazy chick calling daily. LolLol the last time I told the guy that the time frame only says 5.5 m on their own website eh although states May datewas updated from 55m the eek of July 8 he agreed. I said that was not fair.

I don't know if maybe he had a heart. ....no clue. But I'm just so happy it's done. He did say I could write the head of the service center to complain. And I lol. I said yeah I know where that letter will go....to the circular file cabinet. He was really nice though.

Thank God that part is behind us omg. Truly torture.

I pray for all the ones still waiting and hope they fix this system! It's beyondbroken.

Thanks frontgear. I'm going to jeep busy for sure. I've my tidal makeup and hair appts set up for the wedding and I have to print the pics from the last two trips (may and June) and I'm planning our babys first birthday so I hope it's our ofnvc before Sept.

I got through again today and it's on its way to the consulate!!!!! Yaaaaayyyyyyy!!!!!!! Omg I'm flying as high as the stars. Woow. I was just booking my flight next week to celebrate our babies first birthday together!!! (Decided on a shorter trip since we will need the days for the interview etc...) Omg I've been trying to figure out that DHL tracking all day with no success. :/ I just don't really understand how we find out WHEN our interview would be although I see they've posted someyhing last month there's no update this month for the next batch.

Try searching this tracking number on dhl. 9644863292. Not sure how you were trying to track on DHL but there is a post here on VJ that shows you how to do it using a shippers reference. To do it that way, you have to use the date prior to the date your package shipped from the NVC. For your case, I put EXP 28 JUL 2014A in the shippers reference and it gave me the tracking number above. That tracking number shows the packing being shipped on 7/29 - so I thinks it's yours!!

You can also track it using your NVC case number on the CEAC website. It doesn't show details but it will tell you things like "at NVC" "in transit".
