it's weird that cab drivers aren't more scared of white people. how many horror movies start off with a white hitchhiker?

One thing my wife does not like about here. Very little or no public transportation ,even though we are a fairly large place. She could go any where point a to point B in the PI, by use of Cab, Jeepney or pedicab. Cheap too.

If no one has started a cab company where you live, I'm guessing the population density isn't high enough to support it.

Only once and it was a long time ago. I think that's the only part I remember. Except the first guy she killed. That was rough.

White folk get the privilege of being picked up when we don't because cab drivers are more afraid of people who are known for mugging and terrorism than they are of people known for serial murder and child molestation.

Once again you break thru the morning fog and apply nail to head. Thing s however. The odds of a grown man being child molested or serial killed are sooo low. The mugging thing is fairly common, the terrorism thing not so much

yeah well, there were no internets to compete with. when i was a kid if i heard a friend had showtime or cinemax (especially cinemax) or hbo - i would definitely try to hang out there. pretty much how i learned about the birds and bees, late night pay cable.
