Ha, it's true. I was in Vegas a few months ago and this Japanese cab driver pointedly brought up tips during the drive and told me "Americans tip better, Asians no tip."

The funny thing about the cab stuff, its usually minorities driving cabs that make the decision to pick up the white guy.

Yes and from what I read it's based on past history and the places they want to go. What is the answer. I mean a great guy like Marvin, could get bypassed for a cab, but they are also reducing their risk factor by passing on certain customers.

Did you ever see any of the old Hitchiker series that ran on HBO in the 80's. That was a pretty cool show.

Vermont has a lot of white cab drivers.

One thing my wife does not like about here. Very little or no public transportation ,even though we are a fairly large place. She could go any where point a to point B in the PI, by use of Cab, Jeepney or pedicab. Cheap too.
