We should try that in the U.S. Build a wall 100 miles south of the Rio Grande and claim it's for security purposes. Then start moving Americans into the buffer zone and begin building settlements, and if any of the existing inhabitants have an issue with that and start making trouble, we can just send them to prison without a trial and claim they're security threats. I hear there's some open space at Gitmo.

I'm sure at least one other country in the world, besides the U.S., would support the above strategy. Guess which one?

First, the wall was built 30 some years later.

Second, it was in an area occupied in a war Israel got forced into.

Third, as I have been saying repeatedly in the last few days, Hamas shooting rockets out of Gaza has not one single thing to do with Israeli occupation of the west bank. Hamas is a terror organization that wants to kill, period. Hamas is bad not only for Israel but to its own people as well.

So, as you can see, the analogy doesn't quite work for this topic, which is the war with Hamas, and not Israeli occupation of the West Bank.
