You still have some time left. The embassy sends packet 4 at least a month prior to the interview. Packet 4 contains the interview letter and a list of documents required for the interview, such as, police certificate, non impediment form, medical etc. The medical office requires that you have your interview date in order to provide you with an appt.

He can't get his police record without a passport but you can get a passport in a day, it cost about $8000jmd. He won't get denied for not having certain documents. His approval would only be put on hold until you can submit all the required documents.

I hope this helps

I just returned from jamaica, my fiance filed for his police record without his passport. He had his ID and 2 passport photos. They will mail his police record within 7 or 21 days (depending on how much u pay). If you need an overseas police record then u need ur passport, but local police records do not require a passport.

You're welcome. That was in Clarendon. We paid the fee at the tax office then took the receipt back to the police station. They will tell him if anything shows up or not, but mail the record. Good Luck! every thing is such a process...it took all morning.

They don't mail the police certificate. After you drop off the receipt, you have to return after the amount of days you pay for to pick it up. Get the non impediment form at Registrars General office.

Kween, I will be in Jamaica Aug 1, will you still be there? Where in Jamaica will you be?
