Can anyone advise how much money you need in your bank account? I mean, is there a minimum you must have on your statements before printing them out? If so, what is the minimum? :help:

I usually have very low balance like $100 in my accounts.

My income is way above poverty line, so the bank balances do not matter.

You only need to show bank accounts when your income is less than 125% of poverty line then bank account is counted as an asset.

Here is what Manila asks for:

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public

charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. Submit your petitioner’s most recent

U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters

stating salaries and bank statements may be included. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form

will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for

you

stach,

0. Unless your bank lets you get overdrawn, but in that case I wouldn't provide bank account information.

Thanx for the replies, i feel alot better now. I make decent money but hardly ever have money in my account. I have some going into 401k and the rest i pay bills.

Anyway, I'm a late october filer (CSC) who has never been touched, we are patiently waiting for our NOA2, or any sign of life would be great!!!
