Chick's got a way with words, eh?

Of course you do to NB.

just in a different way. As I read her post , I thought. That's what I really meant. Of course the boyfriend thing scared me. I got this mental image of me with a black mask on, with a bit in my mouth, on hands and knees with some chick in a cat woman costume beating me

What's up for your weekend? :)

Nothing much. Still fasting so I'll just do some school work while the missus has to work. Sunday I think she wants to go down to STL and look around before we pass out later for lack of energy.

I don't know how you do the fasting thing Marvin. I couldn't do it, I love my food too much.

On Sunday I'm gonna make a batch of chicken parm to have throughout the week and prolly cook some ribs on the grill. And I promised wifey that I'd take her for a walk on the beach.

I have a friend's open house birthday party to go to. Other than that not a huge amount as it's just too hot.

Are you anywhere near Hull? Just curious, I have friends there.

You're not the only one. Food is my passion. The good thing was, I started off doing half days first. So it wasn't a complete shock to my system.

That sounds like a blast. How's the weather down there?

I am working Saturday, and have Sunday and Monday off. ( Monday is a public holiday - umi no hi ( ocean day)- when everyone is supposed to go to the beach).

I shall be catching up on household chores, reading and sleeping. I haven't had a day off in two weeks. I might go to an onsen( hot spring ).

Also will be eating unagi ( grilled eel) to keep up my strength in the summer heat) as it will soon be unagi no hi (eel day- a day designated for eating eels).

The Italian food sounds great.
