I know, that's why i'm sad. my 'family' has to go next door to use the deep fryer we got for us to use in our home. :(

That's a terrible thing for a landlord, or anyone else to do to another human being, simply because they can. I would imagine your enjoyment level is at an all time low and you're not using your deep fryer near as much as you would if it were right in your own kitchen.

yes. i'm seriously upset. i'm thinking of going to the townhouses at the other end of the property and lighting my charcoal grille. the residents there won't like it, they're propane grillers. but, my grill has wheels & I can move it.

Tonight is hot dog night at the Teddy B household. Albeit a simple food, but one of my faves that can be dressed up in many ways. I usually go with Ballpark all beef franks or Kayem all beef with the natural casing. I like to put chopped onions with relish & mustard on my dogs. Sometimes I'll heat up some baked beans and put that on top of my dog with some shredded cheddar cheese. Good stuff.

What kind of hot dogs do you prefer and what do you put on them?

I use to have a deep fryer. my landlord told me it didn't belong in my apartment. then he moved it next door. I can still use it if I go to the neighbor's apartment. :(

That sounds very familiar. Kind of like that deja vu thing. I am too lazy too look up, how to spell a french word but, ya know what I mean

Ball Park makes a good one. The Oscar Myer cheese hot dog is a good also. With slaw

I don't know if you guys have Sams clubs. You can go with your wife and get two Nathans Hot dogs, Two slices of pizza and 2 large drinks for under six bucks. It's quite entertaining to sit there and watch folks, and poke fun at people that are different than us.

We do have Sam's Clubs here, but I'm not a member at that one. We also have Costco and BJ's wholesale club. I get a free membership through work at Bj's so I usually go there. They have a mini food court as well with dogs and pizza. But you're right, it is fun to sit and people watch. Just when you think you've seen it all, something new comes along that makes you go #######??? I like to go to BJ's and spend about $350 on all sorts of bulk stuff, come home and divide it into smaller portions and then stand in front of my fully stocked fridge with the doors open and admire my conquest. My wife usually chimes in with "You're proud of your full fridge aren't ya"?

Teddy, if you ever come across Hummel's hot dogs up there in MA, try them. They're the local dog I grew up on, and they are fantastic. Great snap to the casing and quality ingredients. Out here, I am a convert to the Dodger dog. I like them with sauerkraut and extra onion so I can breathe CABA fire.

Don't believe we have the Hummel's here Maven, I don't recall ever seeing that brand at the grocery store but I will check it out. I do like the natural casing franks, Kayem makes a decent one. Sauerkraut is also very good on dogs. The CABA fire is what every man fears and keeps us lying awake at night.

No that's what I am talking about . You may get a man card after all despite not getting excited at the sound of automatic gunfire
