Weak weak weak but a step up from a face palm

I always respond in kind.

Many local elections are won and lost by a few points. One community I know of had collage students vote on the school budget. None of the students I believe payed any property taxes yet they decided the outcome of a very large jump in the tax rate dealing with the tax base. This settling of undocumented democrats in certain communities is not a random act. ... All planned in dealing with the political makeup of an area.

Bingo.

These laws give the populace the notion their governors are more important than their office warrants. That is how the GOP elected representatives in TX, AZ and AL in the wake of the pseudo-immigration laws they enacted. NY is playing the same game.

Razzle dazzle them, and they'll beg you for more...

Anyone want to lay money or odds on Obama's justice dept suing to block this, like they did in states wanting defend their borders from the invasion of illegal aliens ?

If states wanted to defend their borders they would send their LEOs to the borders. Enacting laws that can't be enforced just for show, hardly qualifies as a defending anything... Eat it up though....
