Prior to the defeat of DOMA, most serious couples migrated north to Canada.

No reason to come back, either.

No reason to come back, either.

They're heading back home now. Several state laws are being challenged and defeated in Federal courts. Even Utah is joining the 21st century...

Huh? No la... The first I learned of it was from a real estate buddy of mine in Houston - he was handling sales of houses in Houston for the couples - seems almost 18 years now? maybe 15 ?

The problem comes from the fact that Hollywood and the media give the public the impression the percentage is much higher. According to Gallup:

So the public imagines this is some big oppressive issue that affects tens of millions of people. It's not. Thanks media and liberal propagandists. <_<

Perhaps he doesn't realize there is an entire country between Texas and Canada, and these couples were moving out of state?

Is it a problem?

The personal life of complete strangers is always a problem! I can't think of anything more pressing to worry about the moment I wake up!

I sometimes have trouble falling asleep for there are days I don't have enough time to devote to all the concern the lives of all these strangers require, during the day.

It is a huge problem, of incommensurable proportions!
