K1 Visa: advice on interview required docs

Hi, my fiance and I are currently waiting for the sputum results to be released in Sept 3. I have an interview appointment already scheduled for Sept 25, hoping the cultures are negative. My fiance has completed retrieving all the required documents already prior to going to his medical on June 16, then we found out he needed a sputum culture which were done July 1-3. Anyway, my question are:

1. my affidavit of support (along with bank statements, job letter, pay stubs, etc) were dated May 2014, will that be still valid and acceptable when he gets interview in Sept. even though its 4 months old. or do I still have to send a new and recent affidavit of support (for example dated August, only 1 month old) along with another bank statement, job letter, pay stubs, etc.

2. His CENOMAR and NBI clearance were also obtained and dated on June 2014. That will make it 3 months old when he goes to his interview. Does he still need to get a new one? I know the validity date is that it's best to be less than 6 months, is his current NBI and CENOMAR still acceptable?

3. What would be other issues that could come up that the embassy would request more forms after the interview?

4. If all goes well, how long will it take for the embassy to approve and send a visa to your designated delivery place after the date of the interview? Is it possible to know if you have been approved after the interview?

Thank you for all your help!

1) Shouldn't be an issue with the I-134 dated from May, copies of tax return and W-2 just need to be the most recent which is 2013 so no issue there either.

2) As long as the NBI and NSO documents are under 6 months old there should be no issues.

3) Follow the embassy instructions letter, use it for your checklist as to what is required.

4) No one knows how long it will actually take for the visa to arrive, embassy states 5-10 days after issuance (which is not the interview). You will know if all went well at the interview if you were not issued a 221g letter at the last window.

Also, I have a question about his name. His name has a suffix of Jr. Well when I filed the I-129F form I had placed his Jr. after his last name. EX: John Doe Jr. but on his Philippines passport it would state First name: John Jr. Last name: Doe; so when he got his CENOMAR and NBI clearance the name that is on there was just as it shows on his passport. First name: John Jr. Last name Doe....will that matter? or do we have to have an NBI clearance with a format of First name: John Last name: Doe Jr.? since I had filed my 129F with Jr. following his last name?

Thanks Hank! On my fiance's NBI clearance it states the purpose is :Travel USA; is that ok? or does it have to say for US VISA?

Embassy instructions letter states "for travel abroad". As long as it is the GREEN version you are fine.

You should be fine, Philippines has their system U.S. has theirs... somewhere in the middle they meet ;)
