Hi all--

Just wanted to share good news. Today (I am visiting my husband in Mexico City), I went with him to the US Embassy as he had his interview for his tourist visa. We are waiting approval of the I-130 and took a risk of getting his tourist visa so he can visit me in Colorado during this process. He was treated really well at the embassy and they didn't ask him many questions, said that he was going to visit his wife's family and attend his brother-in law's wedding (which is true, the wedding is in October). They approved his visa without any hassle, so now we are really excited that he will be able to go to Colorado and visit while we are waiting for the rest of the process!

Hope this helps anyone wondering if this is a possibility! Go for it!

Good luck to all,

K

Thats awesome! Just want it to share with you guys. I always always had a tourist visa, im mexican too, now that we started the process I tried to go and visit my husband, they didnt let me, they cancel my visa and told me that wont affect our petition or anything I just cant go and visit during this process, that was almost 5 months ago. I had papers to proved that I do live in Mexico, a lot of positive things on my side i own business, I studied abroad there, I visited the US since I was a baby 3 times a year, they just were really really really mean to me. Take a lot of papers with you when crossing, more than ever this time, having the visa wont guarantee the entrance to the country. I wasnt lucky and the officer at the POE was mean. If he doesn't mention you even better. Good luck!! :)
