Hi, I sent my I-751 package on July 3 and NOA1 dated on July 7. But I will have a business trip to other country from Aug 4-Aug 13. Base on the other people's experience, I will have a big chance to receive the bio apportionment during the travel period. Does the bio appt letter come in about 2 weeks after NOA date? I am not sure which way to go if the appt fall into the travel period. Rescheduling the appointment or early walking in? Any ideas? Thanks.

You can never tell when it'll arrive but generally within 30 days from NOA.

They give you about 2 weeks window from the appointment letter arriving to your appointment date. You can try early walk in with the notice and if they say no then try to reschedule.

I got my bio letter 10 days after the NOA and the actual appointment was for 17 days after I got the letter. If you have the letter, try an early walk in as opposed to rescheduling. Hopefully the appt is before your trip. Good luck! :)

Depends on your local ASC, but it is within 2 weeks. Walking-In doesn't hurt so try it. But make sure your departure is not to close to the your biometric, because if FBI won't accept your fingerprint result, you will have to take biometric again.

I received the Biometrics appt scheduled at August 5 and I will leave on August 4. So it falls into my travel window. What do you mean about not to close to my biometric appt? If I do walking in next Friday (July 25th) to the same office I am assigned, is that ok?

I have these questions now based on my situation.

1. Usually when should I do early walk in, like early morning on Monday?

2. What should I expect about rescheduling (If they reject me for early walk in), like I will receive a confirmation letter via mail in two weeks? how far apart will be the second appointment?

Thanks for helping.

It means that after you have your biometrics appointment, but FBI doesn't like your fingerprint captures, they will require you to do another biometrics to re-capture your fingerprints. It's rare recently, but it happens. So it's not recommended you leave right after your walk-in or appointment.
