Hello Friends,

I called USCIS on Tuesday July 8, 2014 and requested expedited review. I received a letter today from Department of Homeland Security that has the following status:

The status of this service request is:

Case/Receipt #

Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action within 45 days.

My understanding of the process was that I would receive an email/letter stating if my request was denied and/or if additional information is required. This letter simply states my case is being adjudicated.

I'm unsure if this means my request for expedite review was approved and my application is being reviewed OR it simply means my request for expedite review is being adjudicated and I may get another correspondence requesting additional evidence to support my expedite review request.

Insight from anyone that has a better understanding of this process is sincerely appreciated!

You will not get any notice on expedite request at all. Meaning if your expedite request did get approved, you will soon get your NOA2. And if you didn't get your NOA2 within a month, it means your expedite requst was denied and it will process its normal processing time.

Thats not true...you will get a notice if you are approved
