Attend interview together - does it help?

My fiancee's interview is comming up at the london embassy and I was wondering if it helps to attend with him? He would like me to come but I am thinking it is an unessesary expense, especially since our case is simple with no red flag issues. What do you think?

It really doesnt matter whether you are there or not for the interview from the Embassys point of view. I went alone to save on the expense...i would of loved it if we were both there but it just wasnt practical

With my fiancé studying with me in the UK at the approx time I expect my interview I am going to binrg her along

Do they interview you together then? Surely that would help?

I was planning on going to Nepal this summer anyway, and based on timelines I've seen hopefully my fiance's interview will happen sometime suring the summer. We will be sending the I-129F in early February. My boss (God bless her!) gave me permission to take the summer off (I work at a college library) and do comp time so I hope I will be there unless there are snags along the way.

I did not want to attend Digna's interview because I, too, wanted to save money and I thought that I had enough documentation. Her embassy official that interviewed her did not even look at the binder that I prepared with photos and indexes and everything to document our relationship. He was more concerned about when and how many times we had sex.......

She is here now and we are married and that is the most important thing is our lives. I am on the computer and she is now reading and studying her motor vehicle handbook so she can get her license. I regret not being there. Maybe that would have stopped the inappropiate questions from a government official that I think was out of bounds.
