Has anyone used this website to set up an interview at the Embassy?

So I saw this website http://www.ustraveldocs.com/tn/index.html?firstTime=No from the Tunisia Embassy official website

http://tunisia.usembassy.gov/non-immigrant_visas.html

After reading it(both of them) looks real to me that I can go and set up an interview with the embassy. It has a call center and all and I've called them, although they didn't help with confirming any information except for wanting me to email the passportsupport people my questions. I was able to set up an appointment for the next month however. My fiancé doesn't think its legitimate. I haven't paid any fees but I had to make a profile so I can schedule an appointment. Now I'm just worried that I made a big mistake in sharing his passport and personal info on a website that could be questionable.

I did a little more research into the company and its based out of Canada with contracts to help the US and with their MRV visa collections? The company is CGI Group Inc. I feel really horrible and I don't know how I can take off his personal info or delete his information...

Has anyone used this website or let me know if they're real or not? Its good to know that there are extra set of eyes out there..I should have asked you all before I excitedly went out and did this by myself. Not too happy with myself at the moment. Thanking everyone ahead of time for any help or suggestions...

I used it to apply for a tourist visa. I called for the interview (so, didn't do it online), but I used a lot of the information from there. So yes, it is very legitimate and actually very useful. Good luck!

12 JUN 2014: Mailed I-129F package
17 JUN 2014: Package delivered to Dallas Lockbox
20 JUN 2014: Received text & email of NOA1

24 JUN 2014: Alien Registration Number assigned
26 JUN 2014: Received NOA1 hardcopy

18 JUL 2014: Received NOA2 on the website (28 days after NOA1)

So its at least legitimate! Oh I feel so relieved! Really I am! I was beating myself up on it, cause my fiancé did not think it was a real website...and I had his info on there and we didn't know how to take his info off or delete his profile!

I guess now we have to wait to see if the embassy will send him an email about our case to set an interview instead of going thru this website. Thanks so much for replying!

No problem. I would have been really worried too. But I know a lot of people who applied there and it was perfectly fine. :) If you don't get an answer, just try calling. In Romania was very easy to make an appointment for the interview over the phone. Good luck! :D

I did call and spoke to them that was why I felt they were legitimate! At least I didn't pay anything yet. Just going to pay for the Visa at the embassy when we got approved. Now at least I won't need to go and cry....thanks!

Lena&Islam,

I wouldn't wait for them to email your fiancé to schedule an interview. Go ahead and email them yourself requesting an interview appointment - consulartunis@state.gov. They will ask you whether you've paid for the DS-160 and had the medical exam, but you will need an email from them to do the medical exam. You will also need to have all your documents prepared (passport renewed, birth certificate + translation, police certificate + translation, financial affidavit, etc.) before scheduling the interview because you are essentially telling them you have everything ready. Being proactive really speeds up the process!

Thanks Colleen! It has been so frustrating trying to call them to get an interview date. The switchboard operator is just so rude and curt! I sent them 3 emails already, heard nothing. I called 3 times and finally got a live person who said that our case file had arrived two weeks ago! He said we should be getting a email soon about it. I'll be sending my fiancé the rest of my documents and paperwork and then will call to schedule an appointment as now I know of a name to ask for. Thanks for replying and letting me know.

Oh my gosh! I'm super excited, finally! I got a response from the embassy this morning after making a phone call to the embassy yesterday morning. My fiancé can go ahead and get his medical examination done and to bring the rest of his documents to his interview. Interview date will still need to happen but at least now we've gotten packet 3!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we will be together at the end of August!
