LPR filing I-130 for minor child

Hello Everyone,

First of all thank s to all!!!!! Both my parents made it through all the process....They're now happy LPR's

Our quest is not over yet.....We have to go through it one more time for my lil sis. Our mom (LPR) is the one whos going to petition for my sis. LPR is working but not enough to make the cut so I'm "Co-sponsoring".

Besides the I-130, birth certificate, copy of LPR GC, What else should I include in this very first process?

We already have all the paper work needed (police clearance, affidavit of support, etc.) should I include these?

What's should I send USCIS to make the process go flawlessly. Please share what you've sent when you went through the first process. Thanks in advance

Your police certificate will expire years before your little sister gets a visa so no need for that at this point. Her package will look a lot like the other I130's you have filed. Currently you are looking at quite a wait for a visa number and she can't overstay any visitor/vwo status or she will face a ban.

Read the Guides.

You do not file the police certificate, I-864, etc. with the I-130. (Even if you could, they would be out of date by the time they are needed.)

Just file the requested supporting documents with I-130. You can follow the Guides or the Instructions for Form I-130.
