Removal of Conditional Residence

Hi there,

I have a 2 year conditional green card which I got in October 2006. When do I send in my I-751, is it 90 days before my Conditional Green card expires or 90 days before me and my wifes 2nd wedding anniversary which was December 2005?

With in 90 days of the green card expiration date.

I wonder why this question comes up as often as it does, the answer is spelled out in the guide.

"The I-751 form must be filed within the 90 days just preceding the expiration date on your card."

Hope this gives you a clear answer. I've just filed my I-751 thsi month.

If your card is expired Oct 31, 2008 you can file anytime between august 1 - october 31 of the year 2008. The I-751 form must be filed within the 90 days" You still have a long way to go.
