I am a little stressed...My wife and baby girl are in Manila and we had set our appointment on the 16th of July for CRBA. Now the consulate will be closed on the 16th because of the typhoon headed that way. The most important aspect is the safety of my family I pray they will be okay. But I am so disappointed our appointment was cancelled and now they have this new mail in system to get the CRBA appointment that is probably terrible...Althought it also says we will be contacted in the next few days by ACS. Here is the quote from the site....

For U.S. citizens with American Citizen Services appointments, please either reschedule your appointment by visiting our website or await contact by the ACS unit in the next few days. For emergencies involving U.S. citizens, please contact the Embassy through the main Embassy telephone (63-2) 301-2000. We expect to open during regular hours on the next business day, provided conditions improve. Please monitor our website

My concern is now we are in the back of line for CRBA appointments that are already in high demand. Anyone know what there procedures are for when they will try to reschedule?
