Have NVC Case # and IIN but still not able to access site.

Hi VJ Members,

My PD is 09/23/2013. My I-130 has been approved and sent to NVC last November. I got my NVC case number and IIN from December 2013 but I'm still not able to access Choice of Agent as I get "Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error." Is it normal for them to take this long to activate the forms to fill out? Should I give them a call about this or wait until my PD is current? Is see members with PD after mine with NVC case completed.

Hi VJ Members,

My PD is 09/23/2013. My I-130 has been approved and sent to NVC last November. Should I give them a call about this or wait until my PD is current? Is see members with PD after mine with NVC case completed.

Better call NVC asap. I got approved May 12 and NVC received my case MAY 22 and June 13 I got my case number and IIN, June 27 when I received an email that I have to pay the AOS fee and fill out the Ds261. Your have to call NVC ASAP!!

Hi,

NVC will not start to do any work for you until your PD is current. It seems that they are still working on May or June of 2012 PD. You can call and ask for an update.

Do you know if there's a strategy of sorts because I see a few members with PD after mine getting case completed so just wondering if it really has much to do with the PD? Maybe I need to pray harder :dancing:

same here my PD is SEP 30,2013 I have my case# & invoice number but can't go tru the system.

My hubby emailed NVC last week we are waiting for the reply

Keep us informed, please.

Anyway, it's too early to get anxious. That only means that our priority dates are not about to become current (within an 8 to 12 month term).

Till now haven't received any reply from NVC. it's been almost a month, my hubby already sent a follow up letter.

Tried accessing the ds261 form,still not allowed....how about you guys any updates?

I am in the same situation I have IIN. I had called for this before 2 weeks to NVC. They said "You will not be able to access it right now. You can only pay the fees after we send you the invoice".

So what we can do is just wait for their email and snail-mail of Invoice. Generally they mail the invoice when they think our PD is going to be current in near future (4-6 months).

My pd is 24th September 2013, i have been assigned case number and Invoice number, the last mail i got from NvC was on the numerical limit in Feb 2014. i read Choice of Agent would be activated some months before the case is current. Sept VB is out, and pd advanced till 01Jan2013, does that mean that NVC would contact us soonest, what do we do to quicken the process at NvC to get a case complete soonest. Thank You Guyz

Still not being able to access it, am hoping by the time Oct Vb comes out we can be able to access it, i have called severally as well. All the say is you have to wait for your Pd to be current, but am aware NVC starts receiving payments before Pd dates are current. Hoping we can access it soonest. Lets see what great news Oct VB has for us all. Glemette, am still expecting NVC's reply to my e-mails, have they responded to ur hubby. Please lets update each other. Happy New Month. May September be kind to us all in this journey to reunite with our loved ones.
