Why everyone files for Juarez consulate and just a few ones file to Mexico City embassy?

I have noticed that 95% of the applicants from Mexico apply for Juarez ... Is there something wrong with Mexico City ?

August, 2011: Met

June 23, 2012: In love!

July 11, 2014: I-129F Sent

July 15, 2014: Delivery confirmation USPS

July 18, 2014: NOA1 text / Check cashed / WAC !

July 22, 2014: Alien registration number changed

July 24, 2014: NOA1 hard copy

July 26 to Aug 13: Visited my love in Michigan (no problems at POE Detroit)

I have noticed that 95% of the applicants from Mexico apply for Juarez ... Is there something wrong with Mexico City ?

Maybe the US Consulate in Juarez is the only one that processing a K-1 visa. In Indonesia, the US has embassy and consulate but the one in Jakarta is processing K-1 visa.

some folk file DCF in Mexico City for CR-1/IR-1 visa.

If'n you see Mexico City as a filing location on any timeline or stats page for a K-1 visa - consider it a human error- the member decided to NOT put in CDJ as the Consulate - thinking (perhaps?) that any place in Mexico is sufficent when filing out a timeline.

I call to solve my own question... Mexico City only process K-1 filled online all others go to Ciudad Juarez

August, 2011: Met

June 23, 2012: In love!

You cannot file a K-1 online, so not sure what you are referring to. Juarez is the only consulate you can interview at for the K-1 visa.

Couples that are married and residing together in Mexico can file for DCF(Direct Consular Filing) at the Mexico City consulate.
