By the same yardstick, if you can indict Islam on account of Al Qaeda, you can and should indict all of Christianity on account of the KKK.

But it does serve a purpose. The other poster finally made a point to the effect that you can't judge the entire world of Islam based on the actions of Al Qaeda alone.

To be sure, it is an obvious conclusion but one that doesn't come naturally to the more unaware amongst us.

The fairest thing you can say is that the modern day political parties don't ideologically identify with groups like the KKK.
