Jesus people.... but thanks for pointing that out . I was answering Marvin questions. Sentence one answered his 1 statement , sentence 2 the 2nd

What is a good Klansman? The one who hates me but doesn't lynch me? Bad example to use, but I forgive you, this time

For Muslims, the overwhelming majority that lives here are just like you. They want to live in peace and worship without any issues. But, because of 9/11, people can't let go of their bigotry. We don't hate anyone, nor do we take issue if you worship in a different way.

Answer to 1---It was an analogy. I was not saying there are good Klansman. Answer to 2--Yes the overwhelming majority are good folks. However a sizable enough number to be dangerous, are organized and radical.

I believe you. You're not a bigot but you communicate like one. And by that, I mean you communicate poorly.

Or just calmly explain in a way most rational folks will understand

I admit I botched that one

So all Bigots communicate poorly.?? Hardly. Hitler was a great communicator

But the peace-loving muslims need to be characterised by the actions of religious extremists? It's certainly a poor way to get a point across.

Perhaps the question should be - "should muslims have less rights / more intrusion into their personal privacy / right to free speech etc. for the protection of everyone else".

The answer from everyone should be 'no', but at least then you know who stands on the bigot side of the fence.

These two comments will help me make a point which would be considered breech of TOS under normal circumstances.

The written word carry no inflection. Without punctuation and grammar it may be hard to understand what is being communicated.

The catch-22 is that if you can't point out another poster's transgressions without breaking TOS, all the while being burdened with guessing what the poster meant to say with random words, thrown together in a sentence.

Particularly when the subject is touchy, it might behoove one to read one's post before making it public to all.

I will give you the confusing draft part.

I admit I botched that one
