arrived in USA- what to do with the sealed uscis medical letter?

I arrived in the 3th July USA. I will applay for the Social Security Number tomorrow but i still habe the sealed Letter with my Medical Information in it for the USCIS. What should i do with it?

I'm learning everyday, so (medical) sealed envelope is sent to the embassy after the exam,

and then they give this back to you before POE?

Did the embassy open this and reseal it?

Okay, let me make clear.

There 2 medical result will be given. One for the embassy (sealed big envelope) and one for the beneficiary (small one) or at least what I had (copies of vaccination records and medical health certificate). The medical result that sealed you were given at clinic will be taken at the embassy and attached to brown or yellow envelope. You can't open this envelope and give it to an immigration officer at PoE. The small envelope you will carry as a copy and you need it for adjustment of status (you can open this one or at least what the doctor told me).

Note: It depends to the specific embassy whether they ask to send medical result prior interview or carry it to your interview. I did not send my medical result to the US embassy and just carried and gave it to the US embassy's staff who checked all documents before the interview.

I am not sure if you are married already, or if your spouse will keep their existing name, however, the first thing we did was apply for the SS# BEFORE we got married and it proved to be problematic down the road. I suggest that if you are not already married, please wait until you are married and apply for the SS# with the married name.

Actually according to this post, apply with married name can caused a problem since the name is not match with database in the system.

Not all countries give an extra sealed envelope of medical documents to the K-1 applicant. Some don't give anything, not even a copy of the DS-3025.

If your country gives an envelope with medical documents in it for AOS, then that is a good thing and makes things easier for you.

I thought the medical was included in the brown envelope you give to the officer at POE. I only had a copy of the vaccination sheet when I sent the AOS.

I applied for SSN before marriage, got it without any issues, and replaced it after I got my cards, again, without any issues.

Yeah they always give you a copy for your record. I applied for my ssn after marriage and even with my GC in my married name they made it in my maiden name...

The medical documents are included in the sealed envelope that is handed in at your POE. A few countries give a separate envelope with medical documents for use when they file for AOS. It would he nice if they all did that, but oh well.

No, they do not always give you copies for your records, as was already stated. I was not aware you even entered with a K-1.
