I sent my original documents to my husband in US for NVC. Its better if you will receive it first to make sure documents reach US . Then my hubby will send it to NVC.well thats pretty sure it will reach MVC by then. I sent it through LBC and it cost 1500PHP..the documents artived in US after 5 days. Actually I prefer DHL or FEDEX but thet dont have office here in our province. But in fairness LBC I cheaper and 5 days is not bad.

Sent my docs thru LBC directly to NVC. They received them after 4days. No problem at all sending the docs directly to them. Cost me 1,270 pesos only :)

  • 1 month later...

After a few hicups we got all of our docs sent back and forth...lol

Quick question about my wife's birth cert...It looks like her birth cert is a photo copy..What will they be expecting at the NVC to see? I know that they are asking for originals etc.

Three pounds! 2053.gif If you follow the guides in what NVC, NBI, NSO and USEM is asking for you should NEVER need three pounds of documents in my opinion and experience.

"If it absolutely needs to be there" then I would use FedEx or DHL if possible. Do not use the mail system as it has been demonstrated that it is not reliable. Especially on the Phil side. 1942.gif
