Need help for i 864

Hello VJ Members,

i am so confused on one small point that if my current income is more then poverty line but last year i made only 12k do i still need a joint sponsor or they look at how much i would make in current year (2014). A little explanation for that will be a great help. Thank you in advance

I would read the interview reviews for your embassy. Because its not an assuraity. Every embassy is different. Nigeria its current and past. Of course when you are a student and now landed the dream job they get it. It all depends on why you were so below the guideline. Or they may nt even care. i would start researching.

If ur sponsoring some1 then they might ask for last years tax returns..

Yes I am sponsoring my wife in 2011 I made 20k and 2013 I made 12k cause I left my old job and went to marry her. When I cam back I started work in auguest and made 12k for rest of the year but now my salary is high for current year so I hope I wont need any joint sponsors.
