NRC??

Hi guys, I made a new thread because I don't want the other one to get too confusing, for me or for others. I just saw somebody's post from a while ago saying this:

"Your case may have been mistakenly sent to National Record Center (NVC); a storage facility for USCIS inactive file.
My case was approved on April 30 and was never received by Nationa Visa Center (NVC). After so many email exchanges with USCIS and NVC, I was notified that my case was located at NRC instead of NVC. I am still awaiting the case to be sent back to USCIS for another review and approval then to NVC. There is no processing time available so it can take another 5 months. I wish you good luck with your case."

Fiance and I got approved for k1 visa on April 18th, so almost three months ago...haven't heard anything from anybody since. Nobody seems to know where our case is at, whether it's still at CSC or stuck at NVC...nobody seems to know anything. Now I just found this post above and it scared the heck out of me....could this really be the case with our petition? Is that what happens when they send your petition off to NRC by accident? They re send it to USCIS for a review and another approval.....God....this is horrible. I hope this isn't the case with us but what are the odds.....Do you guys know anything about this or if there is a way to contact the NRC or a way to find out whether our petition is really there..

What happened with your case? Exact same thing happened to me. Approval on 11 June.

It turned out that it WAS send off to the NRC...........but we didn't find that out ourselves - senator's staff did.
