depends on your priority date and what's current in the monthly visa bulletin.

What have you studied, and where?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Every case is different. A lot of things can affect the process. Any mistake could cost you weeks or even months in delay. Read and understand the guides. Be proactive not reactive. For us it took about 10 months to complete the process - no expedite, no checklist, carefull document preparation, and prayer. Good luck on your journey.

1-2 years approximately but if it becomes longer don't be surprised.

It all depends on the monthly Visa Bulletin: http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/law-and-policy/bulletin.html
